This workshop, led by Lisa Ferguson, is part of an ongoing monthly series of experiential workshops connecting parts work with world events.
Familiarity with parts work is not necessary. Each session is a stand alone workshop.
This month we’ll focus on inner and outer polarisations, and how this can support us in resolving inner and outer conflict.
Often polarisations show up in our relationships and especially difficult conversations with people who hold different opinions, who voted differently, or are exposed to different news sources.
IFS and parts work can support us in having more skillful conversations without abandoning our values and our emotional wellbeing.
We’ll practice inwardly first with our own polarisations, then have a chance to workshop a difficult conversation or interaction.
A key element of parts work is the recognition of our “Self”–or essence–that is imbued with capacities such as clarity, courage, compassion and creativity. These are the qualities we can bring to bear in our own emotional landscape, our relationships, and our leadership.
In this workshop, we will:
Work with inner polarisations/conflicts
Workshopping a challenging conversations or interactions to reduce conflict
Weave with Self-leadership (creative, courageous, compassionate)
This workshop will be highly interactive and deeply transformative, providing you with skills and tools that you can apply both personally and professionally. This is why this workshop will not be recorded.
